Technology Flow | Company Profile

From the Foundation to the Establishment of Domestic Bases

Our company was founded in 1918 by Suezo Yamauchi who built the present groundwork. In January 1968, Hirakata HQ Factory became operational, starting the positive step towards our creative management. Since then, Kanuma Factory in Tochigi prefecture and Kyoto Osadano Factory in Kyoto prefecture were completed; by building the consistent production line of large rolls for papermaking and components for acoustic/imagery machinery, the absolute structure has been prepared with the focus on the big three domestic factories.

As Yamauchi of Technologies

Since the 1960s, making "Composite Science" as our pointer keyword, we have produced new products and new technologies in succession, which are highly received by each industry. We will continue to provide internationally-accepted products and technologies - represented by ISO - having captured the framework for the world and Japan in the future.

Active Overseas Development

Active advancement to overseas was made from the early stage; Yamauchi Singapore Pte Ltd. was established in Singapore in 1979, which led globalization. Since then, factories and sales bases were expanded to Belgium, the United States of America, Malaysia, South Korea, and Hong Kong. With the construction of a Chinese Factory in 1998, the global network had been built with the focuses on Europe/America and ASEAN. The number of overseas dispatched employees is 30; they are playing an active role in leading 2,000  local employees.
